| David M. Gubanc - 1971: "Noted that November 17th, 2023 marked the 50th Anniversary of becoming a plankowner of USS Capodanno (FF-1093) in Mayport FL. when that ship was commissioned on 11/17/73. I was that great ship's first Commanding Officer. Named for LT Vincent Capodanno, Navy Chaplain CMOH recipient, who lost his life in Vietnam in 1967.
